From 30 September 2026, new applications under EDG, MRA and PSG will no longer be accepted. New business grant applications will move under the EDGE Grant framework.
However, businesses with existing EDG, MRA or PSG submissions or approved projects do not need to panic. Enterprise Singapore has stated that applications submitted before 30 September 2026 will continue to be assessed under the relevant scheme requirements, and ongoing projects will continue to be supported until project completion and claim disbursement.
This means:
- If you already submitted a PSG, EDG or MRA application before the cutover, it will continue under the original scheme.
- If your project is already approved, you should continue according to your Letter of Offer and claim requirements.
- If you are planning a new project from 30 September 2026 onwards, you should review the EDGE Grant framework instead.

The EDGE Grant is Enterprise Singapore’s new grant framework for Singapore companies starting new projects to upgrade capabilities, improve efficiency and expand overseas.
EDGE streamlines EDG, MRA and PSG into a single grant framework so that businesses can access support based on their intended activities, such as improving business efficiency, expanding into new markets and enhancing digitalisation capabilities.
Unlike the previous grant structure where companies applied separately for EDG, MRA or PSG, EDGE brings support under one consolidated framework.

According to Enterprise Singapore, the EDGE Grant:
- Covers 8 business areas and over 100 activities
- Supports areas such as Automation & Digitalisation, Business Strategy, Financial Management, Innovation, Internationalisation, Standards and Sustainability
- Provides support of up to 70% for SMEs and up to 50% for non-SMEs, depending on activity
- Has an annual grant cap of S$100,000 across eligible activities
- Provides reimbursement after the activity is completed and full payment has been made
- Allows up to S$30,000 of the annual grant cap to be used for single-function digital solutions, integrated enterprise systems and selected automation activities
- Requires the applicant to be a business entity registered in Singapore with at least 30% Singaporean and/or Singapore PR ownership

How the EDGE Grant Cap Works
Under EDGE, eligible companies may access up to S$100,000 in total grant support per year across all supportable business areas. This annual cap is shared across eligible activities and is refreshed yearly.
For businesses planning digitalisation projects, up to S$30,000 of the annual cap may be used for selected technology-related activities, including:
- Single-function digital solutions such as standalone CRM, accounting, HR, or productivity software
- Integrated enterprise systems such as ERP platforms, multi-module business systems, and connected operational software
- Selected automation activities such as equipment, process mechanisation, or workflow automation tools
The remaining portion of the annual cap may be used for broader business capability areas such as business strategy, financial management, innovation, internationalisation, standards, and sustainability, depending on the selected activity and prevailing eligibility requirements.
